Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

 

1. Can I cook porridge with this model?

You may cook porridge in these two models of rice cooker however it's recommended as you need to add more water, stir it continuously to prevent it from burning and off the cooker on your own when it's cooked. Thus, we recommend you MC388, SC399 and PC6000 for cooking porridge instead of the rice cookers.

 

2. Is the pot non-stick?

The pot is crust free and the inner pot is stainless steel. 

 

3. What is the eco switch for?

During cooking, switch to ECO mode and the power supply will be auto cut off when the rice is nearly cooked. Then the heat energy of the inner pot will continue to cook rice to its perfection. 

 

4. Is it 18/10 or 18/8 stainless steel?

The stainless-steel grade is 18/8 for our Anshin rice cooker.
